STEP 2: MARK AND CUT THE BACK (PIECE C)
Mark a line at 5 inches as you did in Step 1. Cut.
STEP 3: MARK AND CUT THE LIP (PIECE B)
Mark a line at 1 1/2 inches just as you did in Step 1. Cut.
STEP 4: MARK THE LOCATION ON PIECE A FOR THE BACK
Make a mark on each side of the back of piece A, 2 3/4 inches from the bottom. Position the back (piece C) where it lines up with those marks, and then trace either side of it with your pencil.
After you’ve marked where the board sits on the back, make two marks in the center, about 2 inches from each edge. This is where you will put the dowels.
