You can go back later and readjust if needed, as this is a completely non-destructive adjustment. You can delete an active circle by pressing the Delete (Backspace for Windows) key.

This is the most common type of use for the Spot Removal brush, but in a pinch, it can be used to remove larger distractions too. In truth, Photoshop provides a far better suite of tools for retouching and removing distractions larger than a sensor spot. That said, if you want to see what can be done in Lightroom Classic simply paint with the brush over the area you want to remove (instead of single-click), and it will automatically attempt to find a sample in the photo to use for removing the area you brushed (and just like with spots, you can adjust the sample area for better results).

It works the same way as it did for spots; it just uses a larger area of the photo. For example, you could successfully use it to remove a piece of trash from the middle of a grassy field because there is likely to be a lot of open grass in the field for it to sample, but you probably wouldn’t have the same success when trying to remove your ex from that vacation photo you took years ago (but you could in Photoshop).
